Amazing Story

Look at this: http://www.wildhorserescue.org/molly.htm

This pony had her leg amputated after it was mauled by a dog, and now has a metal leg. I've never heard of this in horses before!

This is definitely something new to me as well, and I like to think of myself as being rather knowledgeable too!!!

This was definitely some story, and I would like to thank you for making my night Snap

Very interesting read and thank you for sharing. I think this is the first time I have heard of an animal any size with prosthetics.

Same here Alexis!

If it has ever been done before, I sure have yet to hear about it, and it can't be a very common occurrence to say the least!

At least the horse can walk again, so that's great

Wonderful story! I had often wondered why this sort of thing didn't happen more often, but now that I see that the amputation was fairly low on the leg-I am sure that helped. Had it been higher, it would have been harder.

I hope she is doing well!
