For horses involved in a wedding party, is it possible to dress them up somewhat? Perhaps braiding things into their mane-some kind of ribbons or something else that would make them match the carriage?

Most horses will tolerate being dressed up as much as those little lap dogs. You can braid ribbons, flowers and bells into their manes and tails, put glitter on their skin and hooves, and just about anything else you'd like. It might take a bit of practice to get them to stay in well but its pretty easy.

I actually went to a wedding where they tied bells and a "just married" sign to the tails of the horses...kind of like the tin cans on the back of a limo. It was very cute but both horses were incredibly well trained and didn't even blink at all the commotion.

The flowers there are beautiful! That's the sort of thing we would love for our wedding, it could be done to match the bridesmaids-thank you. Now I know what to ask about.

Might need to keep an eye on them though, flowers might look tasty to a curious horse.

The photos above don't all work for me.

The flowers in the pic above wouldn't be reachable by the horse wearing it, so it would just be a risk of the other horses getting at them. I would think we could deal with that.
