Life long friend

Hey guys,

So I am finalyl deciding to get a horse after being around on these forums.
I want to hear about how much your horse was and how long they have been with you.

Tell me about the relatiionships you build and the activities you can enjoy with your horse.

Anything is helpful and good news to my ears, so please tell me about you and your horse!

I've had my girl, a morgan, for about five years now. She is my best friend. We ride the trails together and she loves to jump, not as high as the ones on tv but still fun. She loves carrots and turnips, not so much those horse treats they make.

I bought her from a friend when she was four so that makes her nearly ten. I got a good deal since he just wanted her to go to a good home. I paid $1000 for her, and all her tack.

That seems like a great buy in for the horse of your dreams and I am sure the friend is happy knowing he/she got a good home as well. Twilight do you have any idea what you can afford or what breeds you like?

I've had Frannie for 2 years. She's a 6 year old paint, very sweet and loving and a perfect match for me. She was about $3000 when I bought her, including her tack and a vet exam at the time.
