The Aegidienberger is a cross between the Peruvian Paso and the Icelandic horse, created to produce a more elegant horse that is suited for the climate of central Europe. It was first officially recognized as a breed in 1994. They have full manes, a proud and noble appearance , and good presentation. They generally mature at a height above 13 hands. They have a willing temperament and good endurance. All colors are permitted.
