What is a good amount of time to spend with a new horse? I know a horse can be a pet, but lets face it, you can feed a cat and walk away. I really don't think that would be the case with a horse.
Since they seem to be more empathic than other animals, I think the more the better, so they can learn you and you can learn them, but this is coming from a non-horse owner too.
