Horses where I live are dirt cheap right now.I live in Ky. Some are even giving them away. If you are at the right place and time that is.My daughter was given a 20 yr old TWH.Because of the drought it is hard for people now to find the hay to feed their horses through the winter. Some are selling them at give away prices.I think it is sad for horse owners.
The upkeep of them is difficult to say, it will vary.Hope this helps.
